About BES PTO
The Boyertown Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) provides funds, programs, and resources for all Boyertown Elementary School students.
Who is the PTO?
The PTO is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers.
We are a small group with BIG goals. We need your help, and so do the students. With your support we can continue to make BES the best.
The PTO follows these ByLaws to govern our organization.
Meet the PTO Board
The 2020 – 2021 PTO Board Members are parents, small business owners, community leaders, and dedicated volunteers.
My name is Jess Hartenstine and I am your PTO President this year. I am honored at the opportunity to serve our school and community for a second year. Last year I served as the Vice President. My husband James and I are the proud parents of two wonderful girls. Quinn is in third grade and Carsen is starting her first year at BES. I am a small business owner which provides me the flexibility to be with my girls and serve the community. I am honored and looking forward to a fantastic year!
I am so excited to serve the staff and families of BES this year! I am a mom of 3; 6th grade, 3rd grade, and 1st grade. My husband and I love to serve our community and live right in the heart of Boyertown. I work for Morning Star Fellowship within the Children’s Ministry. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at BES no matter what it looks like!
My name is Brooke Patton and I am your VP for this school year. I am a Mom of 6 and have been married to my best friend for over 9 years. I’m excited for this opportunity again, I was Secretary for 3 years in a row previously. BES was my school and now my children have had the same privilege. Currently I have a senior, junior, 2 in 8th grade and a Kindergartner, with my youngest being in preschool at Cornerstone on Swinehart Rd. I am an assistant teacher there plus I am a In-Home Care Giver for Chestnut Knoll at Home Services. Besides my paid jobs, I have many volunteer jobs. I am the Co-Director for the Boyertown Legionette Twirlers and I am the President of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company. I enjoy keeping busy, despite the chaos I live in, it helps to keep me sane. I look forward to once again serving the Staff and Families of BES!
My name is Kevin Patton and I am your Treasurer for the 2020/2021 school year. I am a Father of 6 children, and my wife and I have been together for over 11 years. I previously served as the PTO Treasurer but sadly had to give the position up due to my children moving into middle school. I am excited for the opportunity to participate in the PTO as my son has just started Kindergarten at BES. I currently am a Montgomery County employee and also volunteer as a firefighter for Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue. I look forward to this upcoming school year and all of the unique challenges that I am sure we will all be faced with and hope to make it a memorable year for all of the students and families.
