I am humbled and honored to serve our school family for another school year! Our family came to BES from WES in 2013, and since then I have previously served as PTO co-president in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, as well as committee chair for the basket party, staff appreciation day, Grandparents’ Day, welcome back parties, and more. I’ve enjoyed volunteering in the BES library and in all of my children’s classrooms in some capacity.

My husband Rick and I are BASH graduates of the class of 1999, now parents of six kids in the district. We currently have one child at middle school West, three at BES, one who attends the preschool program at BASH, and a 2-year-old who will be a proud member of the class of 2035.  Oof, that hurt to read. 2035, really?

Our kids keep us busy, having at any given time been involved in tee ball, softball, baseball, lacrosse, football, cheerleading, soccer, basketball, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Healthy Kids Running Series, vocal ensemble & chorus, band, orchestra, AWANA, and probably other things that are slipping my mind right now. In support of that, and because we are extremely passionate about making our community a better place, Rick and I volunteer in a number of organizations in the Boyertown area. In addition to the PTO, I presently serve on the Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council, coach twirling with the Boyertown Legionettes, and volunteer with Meals on Wheels through the multi-service. I love this town and the people in it, and I will never tire of immersing myself in it. This is a great place to live and raise a family.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Boyertown Elementary and the families in it. I’m biased, of course, but our staff and students are among the absolute best in the world, and every day that I walk into our school, I’m thankful that I’m part of it.
